And guess where Dr Bradfield was born.? Wiki says Sandgate, but he was actually born at Deagon, in his parents home. Dr Bradfield was also involved with the building of the Story bridge, Brisbane, Bob [ not bad for a man from Deagon]

That was very interesting, I noted the steam driven ferries and ships, the cranes and machinery were awesome. Thanks for the post

Awesome film footage of our History, but would be better with Ye Olde British narrator..........me thinks.:)

Most of the workers in the granite Quarry died of lung disease from the rock dust, a bit of OH&S might have been welcome there, Regards Frank.

Watched this last night. Very interesting.
Backed it up tonight with a docco about how the Sydney Harbour tunnel was built. I did not know that the exhaust from the tunnel is vented out of the north-eastern bridge tower.
