Service indicator reset??

I'm sure this has probably been covered in the past, but I can't seem to find any info on it.

Does anybody know how to reset the service due (nr of days to go) indicator on the D3?

AFAIK you need a diagnostic tool via the OBD2 port to reset service reminder (eg. IIDTool, Faultmate, Hawkeye and most common mechanics tools will do it). Not sure if there is a work around if you don't have such a tool, but I doubt there is.

Depending on the year, it can be done through the trip computer and ignition key, do a search on the web as there are some instructions from a U.K. Site.

It did work on my 2009 SE!
