Hi, I'm trying to get a new radio in my 1996 Defender, anyone done this? What adaptor did you use and where can I get my hands on one, everywhere I've had no luck up to now! My existing radio is standard model 6315 OE, I need an adaptor to go from the old wiring harness to a new radio, which I haven't got yet!

The 110 (Puma) I have has a standard ISO plug on the harness and when I replaced the radio i just had to buy the ISO to Pioneer (the correct one for my radio as there were 2 types of Pioneer).

Supercheap, Autobahn both had them and many other combinations on display so I guess any supplier like that should be able to assist.

Company called Aerpro or Aeropro make them, as said, Repco, Autobarn are best bet. They are made from ISO to head unit model specific plug so they may need to order.

Just a quick update, I have installed my new stereo, after abit of fiddling about, I had a dig in behind the dash and found two more plugs, unplugged them and took them to repco and bought a set that almost perfectly matched the ones I needed! The two plugs were correct but the single plug to my new deck wasn't, so I had to chop that off and figure out the wiring to the new plug? Simple really.
