Thanks to everyone who attended a great weekend at The Springs. We had 9 cars in total.

Special thanks to JohnR for leading the drives.

We ended up coming out in our newer 90 due to me not being able to sort a brake issue with the one we would normally use. It also meant that as I havent got trailer brakes or light sockets wired into the car yet, we were limited to an esky and a ground tent!

The weather was fantastic. We arrived earlyish on Saturday morning and while being cold and quite windy at times all weekend the skies were pretty much cloud free and bright blue all day!

Gave the new car a bit of a workout. Was impressed especially with Sam who drove nearly all day on Saturday and quite a lot this morning as well. We ended up with basically no scratches on the paint, but I did manage to damage 3 of the alloys slightly on the edge on a very very loose rocky climb, and gently catch one of the trailing arm chassis mounts on a rock removing a bit of paint!

It was good to catch up with everyone again. We also had an awesome fire on the Saturday night which was great! and needed with the temperature out there!

I have pictures of most of the cars, apart from Paul, Louis, and Garry. Sorry about that! I also have a video of a couple of cars I will try and upload. See how I get on!

All the attendees were in Defenders (and one series which I am counting!) 3 90s on a trip is unusual as well!

Was indeed good to be out for a change!
Attendance by the tougher defender mob was good - apparently we handle the cold better?? :p
As Pete said it was literally freezing out there, but the days were sunny and mild, even warm when the cold wind let up a bit.
The campfire would have made Trav proud and was needed indeed - for warmth and cooking.
I did get the fender dusty, but issues with unretained rear springs meant I could only do very tame stuff, it will be fixed shortly!!!
Always good at the Springs, and this trip was no exception.
Oh, and some insane driving up the rock garden by PeterT considering he has no lockers  , while il Presidente Grant made it look easy :D
