Hi all
This morning I went to start my faithful TD5. Having waited for the glow light to go out I turned the key to the ignition position and nothing happened. So I tried again and nothing happened, not even the clunk of the solenoid engaging. I tried a third time and she fired.
Not sure what the problem was, it wasn’t particularly cold today, around -1 at this time but was colder last week and no problem.
I had a similar issue around 10 years or so ago and am pretty sure that turned out to be a starter position sensor or something like that, but I don’t recall if the scenario is the same as this one.
Any ideas?
Simon :p
