Waste Oil

I use waste oil in a Kroll heater to heat my workshop and I'm running a bit short of supplies.
The big companies dump all their oil in large holding containers so it's a bit hard to get at, but I generally get ample from DIY'ers and my Landy Club members, but not this winter.

If there are any members of this forum who are in the Box Hill, Nunawading area etc (Victoria, Australia) who have old engine, gearbox or drivetrain oil stored away that they want to dispose of free of charge (please NOT with coolant or brake fluid mixed in) and it's in 20 litres or lesser capacity containers, then please let me know.....I can collect......THANKS!

BTW, I hope it's OK to post in General Business rather than the Wanted Section, but as it's a "general call" I thought this might be more applicable..

If you want to siphon it into smaller drums, one of my best mates runs a truck workshop, but the waste oil goes into a 1000 ltr pellicon. I could get you a 205 drum of it, but nothing smaller. He's in the Laverton area, but I can deliver. :)

It would be a mix of engine, gear and hydraulic oil.

Most Supercheap stores have (or should have) a large yellow bin outside their stores that are there to place used oil (in containers). I think I would be helping myself to some of that.
