Having my headliner done at the moment. Got what i thought was a good price of $650.00 , which i thought was reasonable after some of the outrageous quotes i got.

Some idiots wanted to take out the sunroof when the sunroof slide was ok, some wanted to use gold cloth, the price they were asking it must have been made of gold.

Anyway just passing on whats happened and the heart attack has gone back to normal now.

Yeah I guess that's livable if you've decided to have the job done. Mine was about 400 (not including sunroof blind), but that was four years ago. Inflation hey, it's a bugger.

My brother is an upholsterer did mine for nicks:D:D:D
But tells me he charges around $300-350 for most cars!
Seems he does a lot commodores - so not just Landies poor quality control.

Yes, it's a very common issue on 80's and 90's German cars, especially BMW.

..and Commodores, yes. All Commodores. Holden never bothered to deal with it... :D
