?

I'm just wondering if it can be cut on a 45 deg angle?

My group self build house has fibro infills above the windows (budget issue, we couldn't afford the extra upfront to go lintels so the brick work could be extended across).

Anyway I thought I might like to re construct them further out (so they are just below the level of the external brick work) and dress them with stacked stone panels like in the link above. I wanted them to run horizontally, with a 45 deg bevel on the lowest edge to meet the underside lot.

Or would I have to run the pieces vertically so I can use the corner joiner type pieces. And what can cut this stuff anyway?

thanks

There's no reason you couldn't cut it at 45, vertically yes? Either way it would work. I'd use something like a tile cutter, electric & wet with diamond blade. Bunnings have one that sells for around $50- and blades are less than $20-. Has table and guides etc.
