Factory bullbar(?) on a D2a I think
It is all bolted together and thin wall tube.
I removed mine eventually cos it was **** weak and the flakign paint made it look worse

(came installed when bought 2nd hand)

Any lighting mods that are not LED.
Terrafirma wheel arch flares (not worth the bucks and there are better ones out there, I'm assured)
Hi Lift Jack mounts for rear bumper. Ridiculous place to store the jack. Gets filthy.

I moved the driver door handle to the passenger windscreen upright so that SWMNOBOBAFAR could get into the car with greater elegance and grace when wearing a dress or, should the stars align and the glorious day ever arise, an obscenely short skirt.

She doesn't use the handle at all.

Instead, boarding the vehicle is still performed with all the elegance and grace of a highly agitated and particularly clumsy donkey that's been stung in the face by a bee.

I replaced my handle with a Mud handle and it's not really up to scratch. Dud mod Bob. Dud mod.

Agreed. LED's are coming along well and are great for all sorts of things, but long distance penetration down the road isn't one of them yet.

Just saying LED's won't penetrate down the road as far as a set of Super Oscar HID's;)

Front Runner Slimline II roof rack expedition rails. Bloody expensive and bloody useless.

But that's just one of the many things I've wasted my money on. Don't get me started on those useless,USELESS GMC two stroke generators.

Cheers all.

"Roo whistles".

Well all the evidence says they don't work but at about $5 a pair a) it's worth a punt at long odds and b) if useless it's not much of a waste of money.

The Cibie catalog !, memories :) page 17
Spread lens, 6000 ft or 1800 m
Spot lens, 9500 ft or 2900 m

Since I bought 2 spread lens, looks like I need two spotties as well for decent range:angel:

My brand name GPS. At one stage it showed me travelling at 20kms while sitting in the home driveway , in neutral with the hand brake on. This was while being next to another vehicle , same GPS that read true. More amusing was following it's path eastbound from Broken Hill. It seemed for every kilometer travelled east it also showed my location to be simultaneously moving south of the Barrier HWY. I chose to believe the existance of the blacktop to the gizmo !
