Power Steering L/r Disco 1999

Starting to get a slight grumbling noise when turning lock to lock when parking. Any suggestion what it might be and would changing Power steering fluid help. Disco has only done 120,000 kms.

usually that happens when your ps fluid is a little low.
put a bit more in and see what happens?
you can change the fluid if this dosent work,

I would say the same thing. That is generally the main cause of these noises. Changing the fluid would be a good idea, when was it last changed? Matt

Hi
I agree with the others,usually means a low level.You can check if it needs changing by the smell,if it looks or smells burnt it needs replacing.If you do a heap of off roading it pays to fit a cooler to the system,it will help prolong the life of the system.
