Greets all...end of the year we're looking at selling our diesel 2005 HSE Disco 3.

It's got all the good things done and has a fair amount of fruit on it and I'm curious to hear what demand you good folk hear of for these beasts.

It's got UHF, steel bullbar, winch, roof racks, window tint, dual rear wheel carrier, long range tank, snorkel, auto mod for servicing, front end rebuild, new tyres, reverse camera, new suspension compressor, alternator changed 12 months (roughly) ago.

Body is ok with no dents but she's been bush so has the regular bush rash stuff.

Cheers for any input.

PS: replacing this truck is going to be difficult....D4 is not an option so any thoughts from those who have had the same dilemma?

If I remember rightly didn't we have exactly this same discussion a couple of years back?....;)

How about some pics of your D3 Mully. It sounds like a nice bit of gear.

Good luck with the sale, one important fact you left out was how many kilometres?
Full service history also?

Why are you selling?

Why isn't D4 an option?

Hey Terry I reckon you're right mate...then I fixed it all up and fell in love with her again. Photo of her conquering some holes included...

Hey Rich she's got 220k on her and she's been reg serviced. Kinda don't have a choice about servicing I reckon with these beasts...just gotta do it. The auto was modded at about 80k and flushed again about 30k ago from memory.

LT decided to sell for tax reasons. Can't claim the black beast no more sadly...she's still a sweet thing to drive.

D4 looks great but not prepared to take on that level of debt again...got 17acres and a business to deal with now. :)

Piddler the 130 is a sweet thing....not my bag nowadays sadly...will be watching for the new Defenders in a couple of years though. I traded our '98 D1 for an Isuzu Dmax coz the Defender was just too much coin and needed a farm/work bus.

Cheers all and thx for the input.
