Brakes for D4 2012 2.7L

Hi gang,

I'm about to do my brakes in the next couple of weeks and would like to know some info.

Has anyone done the V8 upgrade to theirs?
Best place to source quality rotors?
Been reading up on Akebono any one have experience with these on a D4?

Would like to find a one stop shop for everything, I have stock 18" wheels

Just had mine done, stock replacement rotors and pads, done by Roving Mechanical, he gets all his stuff from either LR or Rovacraft, whoever is the cheapest.

Standard replacements are fine, the brakes on the D4 are brilliant I reckon.

Hi Billy - do you mean the D3 V8 upgrade? That would limit you to minimum of 18" wheels. D4 V8 upgrade would limit you to 19" wheels, IIRC.
