Looks like the engine stopped, no wheel action when getting pulled.
Do Pumas cut out when the engine bay is fully submerged - ecu, throttle sensor?
At least the electric windows were still working! :D

There is already a ban by Car Hire companies on tourists driving their hired cars on gravel roads here in Tasmania.
Will the finance companies start putting restrictions on vehicles they supply the funds for, stopping those people taking a vehicle they don't own, into places they are bound to get into trouble with, risking damage to the vehicle and injury to themselves.
