Cooper ST Maxx tyres LT265/65R17

I have recently got a set of Cooper's ST Maxx fitted to my 17" Performance BB5 wheels, in the recently released LT265/65R17 size, which doesn't throw the speedo out my much compared with the larger 265/70R17. There is an increase in noise, but it is liveable compared with a full on MT tyre. Road grip and cornering feels fine, it has recently been raining a lot here in Perth and I don't feel any loss of grip in and out of roundabouts.
Off road grip is where they excel, they are a 50/50 tyre, with an aggressive tread pattern. Recently down some driving in the wet forest areas around Dwellingup, great for mud and wet tracks.
I know everyone has an opinion on tyres, but for a genuine 50/50 tyre you can leave on for everyday use, without to change wheels.

I'm not a fan of Cooper tyres, having had really bad experiences with them, but I have to say, everyone that I have spoken to about these ST Maxx, rave about them, it could be that the ownership of Mikey Thomsons has had a positive outcome with maybe some R & D on tyre development.

This tyre has a good load rating for the size. Any pics of them fitted?

I will upload a photo, you are right with the load rating. They are 120, with 14mm of tread. My other reason to go with these over the Toyo Open Country MT's which also come in the same size and load rating is the tyres OD is 776mm. The Toyo is slightly larger at 782mm. I have Bridgestone D697 LT265/60R18's on 2 of my original 18s' as spares which have the same OD.

I haven't actually used the D697's yet for driving. I may get another 2 and try them on the vehicle. Previously I have used Nitto Terra Grapplers 255/60R18 112XL, they were ok, one puncture in 2 years, and 55K kms.
The D697's tread looks my like a HT, but until using them offroad it is hard to comment, the thing in their favour is they are an LT construction so that has to count for something
