Im to be the latest D4 owner here:cool::cool::cool::cool:
Have bought a brand new tdv6.Fuji white,headlight upgrade,premium leather,Hi Ice and reverse camera.
Unfortunately no SDV6 or Ediff models,not that the budget could get stretched any futher.
Last day of the sale,4.99% finance and 2 years extra warranty.
Should be ready to pick up late next week.

Rang up as I saw last days in a newspaper ad last weekend.There was only 2 hours to go,bit the bullet.Never owned a brand new vehicle.
Planning to do a trip over east in the next couple of years,gives me time to set it up a little bit.

Camper trailer is geting close to completion.D4 will live in the shed with the camper trailer.Boat has the carport at the moment.

The warranty was the deal sealer,paid alot more than I was going to pay for a second hand D4,without the breakdown/repair worries.

Brilliant news, Andy. They are truly awesome and the pain of handing over the $ fades whereas the joy increases. They are beyond Pimms. If you like home brew you might have to look into home made sloe gin. You'll look great going after firewood in your jodhpurs.

No,I went for a new poverty pack with a few nice options and extended warranty rather than a secondhand up market model.
Im sure it will suit my needs nicely.

Good point. I think I picked mine up in Cannington at 9am and it vnever saw the carport until 9pm that night.

I was lucky. I picked mine up in Parramatta on Friday afternoon and arrived in Perth after having lunch in Esperance on Monday night. Great way to get to know the car. I bought it from a dealer on Car Sales sight unseen and I couldn't have been happier with the trip to Perth.

Once I got past Gundagai on the way down, it took every ounce of my self control not to turn left and come home via Tumut and Omeo :angel:

Tells me any Reece hitch will work as long as its rated at 3500kg/350kg downforce,is this true???
Tells me around $200 for a hitch.

Try to get the distance from mount hole centre to ball centre as short as possible. Personally I'm going with a solid aluminium bar hitch and greaseless ball from the US. Will re-drill it to shorten as much as possible.

I just got mine from ISP for $100, the brand was ARK. It is rated at 3.5 ton and came in it's own carry case. They come in 2 sizes.
I got the shorter one, Nice and short.

I also have a couple mate to stop trailer coupling hitting the car.

Very very nice, awesome car, but get it dirty, we got ours out and dirty on its second day...absolutely brilliant.

With the hitch,I assume you're talking about the tongue,I got a Hayman Reese from ARB including ball for $110.00, so was happy with that.

The rubber floor mats, are they the LR ones that lock onto the floor? If so they're very effective

It's funny what they tell you. I was told they were throwing in a tow kit. I said I didn't tow, they said no you need one so we'll throw it in. I said thanks but whatever. I did ask for mats and they said no worries. Kinda makes me think I should have haggled. It sounds to me Andy like you got a good deal on price.

I got the matts,tow pack,and mat for rear area all thrown in,and the deal was thousands less than any price i got up here.
The matts are very good,but i have not used the tow pack.

But i would have prefered the extra warranty......instead.

Congratulations Andy! Great looking car! It'll be sure to serve you well.

I placed a deposit on a new D4 yesterday also, very similar to yours but without the zenon headlights but including an e-diff and a few other dealer goodies. It's in Sydney so can't wait to get it in about 3 weeks.

Have fun playing with all of the new buttons!!!

They are sitting in the Shire office awaiting me to pick them up tommorow;);););)
Licensing laws didnt alow me to take them up to the city and fit them at registration:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
