Series 3 109 Bulkhead onto Stage 1 V8

Hello,
I have purchased a 109 V8 Stage 1, but the bulkhead is rusted out.
I also have Series 3 bulkhead in perfect knick.
Are they interchangeable? Minor mods maybe?
Any info appreciated, the Stage 1 bulkhead isn't beyond repair.
But a swap seems easier if they are the same.

Although the parts book does not say the series 3* bulkhead is the same as the V8, it does say that the V8 bulkhead can be used on four cylinder models, so this would mean that you can use the "Series 3 " bulkhead on the Stage 1, provided it is a four cylinder one. The different one is the six cylinder bulkhead, which has the engine bulge extending a lot further back.


*They are both Series 3 - Landrover does not refer to Stage 1 vehicles as anything other than "109 V8" models of Series 3.
