oil light

hi all my oil pressure light on my300tdi has started giving a flicker before it goes out whole thing takes about two seconds.
ive got the upgraded intercooler so it idles slightly higher, should I be worried
not using any oil, bit of heavy breathing out of the oil filler though. 355000ks

It may simply be the sender, it's cheap to change it over and see how it goes.

Many would be changed before your mileage.
