Sightins of John Pearson of LRO in Australia?

I read he's out here for two months and I saw a reference to him being on the Simpson recently, so I wondered where else he's off to. Anyone know his movements?
That raises the interesting question - if we were advising someone from overseas who had two months to tootle around this country, where we would we advise them to go?
I'd say:
Desert
Cape York
Tasmania
Kimberleys


But its a big country and two months isn't that long. What do you think?

Kimberley's, depending on what climate they are coming from, i.e. if they were from England I wouldn't advise them to go to Tassie, Regards Frank.

Yeah, definitely deserts because I know John Pearson likes Morocco.
The transit distances are the biggest issue in a visit of only two months, I think.
I'd definitely send him north to Cape York and then across the gulf.

Yup! Australian northern winter would be somewhere neer the UK summer but just make sure he is aware of the desert distances and the remoteness and the need to carry fuel, food and water,and of the night temperatures and that some areas are under native control and could be off limits or permit only.:)
