There is also the Haynes manual, which I got from Repco from memory some time ago.

Yes, that Haynes one is still available,just make sure that you get the D1 book (Haynes No 3016) and they are about $67.00 from your friendly Repco store as I have one on order for our 1998 D1 Auto,the auto is the same ZF 4 speed as in the Range Rover Classic post 1986 :) the other book is for the D2 TD5 motor and that vehicle has a totally different chassis and running gear closer to the Range Rover P38a model ;)

I wonder if Haynes manuals from USA crossover to vehicles here? They retail for about $30 USD there....
