Hey guys, just hoping someone may have some experience with this problem. My right rear door lock doesn't work. I've removed the actuator and tested it, it looks fine. The fault must be somewhere else. A wiring fault or something?

Anyone got any good ideas on where to start looking:confused:

The wiring from the pillar to the door can pull tight and break (even if tge rudder sleeve/boot looks ok.

Might be a good first place to look.

My understanding is that the wiring to the door lock actuators will break. The bend radius' are too tight and simply opening and closing the rear doors will work harden the copper and the wire fails inside the insulation. Just parallel it off.

I've already done my RH side door.

'nother wee problem is the aft door lock actuator. It will fail to unlock the door. That one is just crap/dust in the lock mech. and the solenoid isn't stong enough to to flip it over. Clean and lubricate, then works a treat.

Cheers
