Hi all,
Can anyone tell me the colour of the power wire to the reversing lights or an alternative power source when in reverse only that I can tap into in the right rear of a D4?
I have purchase of of Rijidi great read light poles and am planning of installing it tomorrow.
Home - Rijidij Off Road (http://rijidijoffroad.bounce.com.au/#/light-pole/4552066811)
( Great piece of kit btw if you are thinking of doing the same thing.)
It is a simple task to bring the cabling into the right rear, where the jack is stored and I'll connect in to the earth pin there. Full time power I am going to connect into the Traxide cabling I'll install next weekend so I only need to work out where to pick up power when in reverse.
Any assistance should save me some stuffing around tomorrow,
 Cheers,
Graeme

Gives plenty of light
Murray (Rijidij on here) could confirm but I'm 99% sure its a 30W light bare like the small one he has listed here:

Hi Mark
How does the light pole attach to the swing arm?

The Rijidij light pole I fitted to my D3 had a 2 way switch on it. In position 1 I have connected to traxide cabling at rear, (downstream of engel power socket fuse) and the other I spilced into the reverse circuit. Earth connected to earth stud.

I also fitted an over ride switch in the interior to ensure kids dont accidently change positions 2 to 1 and flatten my aux battery.

Bloody great bit of kit!! Murray builds a ripper D3/D4 RWC too.

Hi Mark
How does the light pole attach to the swing arm?
Andrew
The Kaymar swing arm has a a pair of square cut outs similar to this designed to take Kaymars rear light:

So the Rijidij simply slides in the same - a bolt holding it in place. I've used one of these to at least make it a little more challenging for the thieves..
