Man 'sledges' faulty car

A man in Adelaide's northern suburbs has taken frustration with his car to the extreme in scenes reminiscent of an episode of the classic comedy Fawlty Towers.

Police were called to an address at Salisbury Heights after reports of a man attacking a car with a sledge hammer.

When officers inquired as to why the car was extensively damaged, the owner told them he was frustrated that it would not start.

Hey TDI, we tried that on a guy years ago. We were staying in a backpackers here in Sydney, there was a guy that slept all the time so we decided to play a little game, the warm water didn't work so we just poured it onto his crotch. When he woke up we told him he peed himself, he wouldn't believe us, but the owner of the place did when she walked in for a chat 5 minutes later.
