I managed to get Ralph apart over the last few nights. The gearbox Busman found is a top notch rebuild and I have just ordered a set of parabolic springs as well. The water pump that let go after the Condamine Rd trip is out and a new one on order (photo attached) it's completely Teds Brother!. I'm very surprised I didn't have overheating problems either. Obviously, no one put inhibitor/coolant in it until I did. Hopefully I can get some of the bits and attack it this weekend, pull the drive train out, disconnect the gearbox and get a new pressure and clutch plate, get the flywheel machined and put it all back together next weekend.

I counted 7 bolt holes on that water pump. Looking at the front of Ralph, they must have been a bugger to get to:lol2:

As simple as, after I got the radiator support panel and fan blade out of the way. I just sat on the front bumper and worked away. I have to pick up the new pump tonight, get the rest of the incidentals disconnected before I can hopefully, slide the whole drive train out this weekend. I did find a 7/16"
openender I thought I lost in behind the support panel 9 months ago. I was surprised it was still there after Condamine Rd.
