Hi All.
Hope someone out there would have the details im chasing.
I require if possible a complete detail spec on the pistons that was used in the Series 2 2a petrol motors. I know it strange, but trying to help a friend out.
The details are the exact measurement of the piston including ring grooves and gudgeon pin size.
Thanks in advance.

There are original and after-market replacements where different manufacturers can have different spacings and particularly for the oil/scraper ring.
Surely what you want is the height of the piston and the centre of the gudgeon pin.
I can try to measure some over the weekend but not before Friday.
