The other week, my wife and I spent a week over in Fiji. Great holiday by the way. Whilst we were there we went on a tour which included, much to my wife's disgust and horror, a trip in a Land Rover. It appears that it is a highly modified Series 2A which went very well, even with ten people in it. Here's a couple of photos of it. I think the tour's only been going for about 12 months or so. There was a couple of other Landy's including a series three, which looked nothing like a Land Rover once it had been modified.

And the river at the time was too deep for a river crossing, so this method was used.

Have you seen the Perentie thats over there yet?
One of the pilots from Air Fiji took it over.

No didn't see that one around. I only saw two late model defenders and an old series three in a paddock which had seen much better days. I'd imagine that would have been a big effort to ship a Perentie, (or any vehicle for that matter) over to Fiji
