So last week I ordered my tom woods front and rear shafts, placed the order Thursday via FAX, tom made them and sent them the same day, arrived here Tuesday morning:D.
Not bad from the USA to here, quicker than getting stuff from interstate.
And the shafts aren't to bad either:), much bigger than the 110 rear I have, and better quality as well.
I would highly recommend his company and his workmanship,
Very happy chappy:D:D

I can't rate him highly enough either. Absolutely delightful fellow, and his customer service, communications and relations are 2nd to none. Loves a chat too and takes his time to do it!

Yes he also finds our slang interesting, so I chose to use a bit in our emails. If you have a strong pommy accent though, email him, don't call as he tells me he has trouble understanding it. I don't, but emailing is easier for me.

Yep, great bloke.
UPS stuffed up addressing my first drive shaft (Tom had addressed it correctly) and I picked it up via tracking that it was winging it's way to Austria via Germany.
Tom had it stopped at UPS's big facility (Kentucky ?) but insisted on making me a new one one.
I kept saying it's ok, just wait till the old one gets back to you but he made and shipped out a new DC shaft that day !
UPS outdid themselves and 'lost' the first shaft, no one could find it.
It eventually turned up here many, many, many weeks later.
It had travelled via Germany and Austria
Tom was just going to write it off and give it to me, but I was able to 'sell' it for him and Serg got a bloody cheap DC shaft. (If I ever deliver it )

What, $1K all up for 2 shafts and freight ex US for a RRC LSE? I'm going to have to talk to this man.

Yes. $1066, such better shafts than stock, rear shaft would be 10-15mm larger in diameter, 1310 uni's, wide angle. VERY happy with mine

While I'm still at it, I did the final fitment of the rear shaft today. Now everyone with a d1 or classic rr know how much of a pain it is to get a socket onto the bolts on these things, well not with toms, 3/8 drive and correct socket, straight on, that to me was worth the money:D
