Austin Healey Sprite bracket?

Did Austin Healey Sprite (MG Midget) have a radiator overflow/coolant recovery bottle or was it only the windscreen washer bottle?

The bracket looks the same (but no bottle) and is mounted next to the radiator.

my 1965 MK3 had no overflow and that looks like the windscreen water bottle. Mine was never very effective!

The Sprits never had a overflow bottle ^& they would have had an expansion tank with a pressure cap & flat cap on the radiator if they did like some of there other vehicles ie Austin 1800 & Morris 1100. I worked for BMC dealer in the days of the sprits & never saw one with overflow bottle. I've put an expansion tank on my MGBGT to give it extra water.
