Air compressor hard wiring

Hi folks

Got a 2005 TD5 130 with mulgo exbox and baintech fuse box wired up to the aux battery and a traxide usi 160 DBS setup

I also have a typhoon twin chamber air compressor that i'm thinking of hard wiring.
The compressor has an on/off switch on the unit, and a pair of battery clamps - fused (50amp).

Due to laziness - albeit efficiency/ergonomics, i hate having to pop the seats off and connect the clamps to the battery, then switch the unit on.

My question is...... would it be possible to cut the battery clamps and solder up some terminals and connect it to the baintech fuse box in my exbox?

Is this too simplistic?? because the unit would be fused (60amp) before the fusebox, and 50amp after the fuse box... so it should be pretty failsafe!

Should be fine... My arb pump is mounted under the drivers seat and wired to the exbox via a dash switch. There's a schematic of the arb wiring on Ashcroft transmissions site .... Cheers

I am also looking at doing this. My question, if you had an air tank, where on the 110 would you fit it?

My air tank is bolted under the drivers seat box, under the car.

My compressor was in the box under the drivers seat, but it got water in it, while on our Cape Trip last month so will need to find a new location.

I'm thinking of behind the back seat (130 dual cab).
