Did any one catch the cop show " Rose and Maloney" ABC tv last week, Tuesday 8.30pm(east coast)
In it appeared what looked like a 2 door series 1 V8 Disco with bob tail, raised suspension,knobbly tyres, winch and rally fitted out interior with what looked like Recaro seats also had internal battery isolater ( it was stored in a shed for a long time and would not start hence the view of switching the battery isolater and another switch, nice note when it fired up) and from memory the pain job was blue fading into red and a door transfere with , I think "109" on it .
Roughly in Rose`s words she described it as " a Paris- Dakar vehicle, only 50 were built and fitted with a special engine" it was difficult to get a good look at it as the full shots views were fleeting. I am guessing it may be seen in future episodes, I hope
Can any one comment on this vehicle, was it in fact a Paris Dakar vehicle?was it built by LR? were there only 50 made ? or could it be a one off ?
