Hi Guys,

i have a 4 day conference next week.

i always try to not drink to much but we have to stay up till the clients all go to bed.

i know i should just not drink or drink lights but, i do get a taste and do enjoy drinking a heap of beer. i stay off sprits and wine.

i have been getting **** fit the past few weekends (actually all year)

So my question is whats the best way to cure a hanger and only having a few hours sleep.

i want more than berocca and a vegemite sandwich.

thanks guys

There is no magic cure, drink plenty of water before bed and when you wake.
I found Ribena cordial worked for me after big nights, that and a good feed of good old bacon/eggs/beans,toast etc- and a bucket of Tea.

Yep plenty of water before you go to sleep and a couple of panadol too. Make sure you eat all day too if you're gonna have a big one, I always feel worse if I don't eat much

Oh and sunnies just in case:cool:

Line of speed, failing that, back on the booze.....

You may have to put up with the hangover:D

Glass of milk before, lots of water during and after, prior to bed

Drink bottled beer and every second one try and fill with water. Slows alcohol content down and dilutes as well. Still looks like you frogging on as long as it's a brown bottle.

Grogging on not frogging

You may need a compliant medico or pharmacist but Ondansetron could be your friend
pre-medicate after drinking and a follow up in the morning if you hit it super hard

all that nausea washed away with one little wafer

please drink responsibly

The only thing I have ever found to truly help a hang over is a swim in the ocean. Must be something to do with the salt. Don't know why but it seems to help (a lot).

When I was a surf life saver in the 1960's, our club had a compulsory surf swim on Sunday morning, out to the buoy and back. Always a few members who tried hard to burley up some fish and left the water looking worse than they went in.

More information needed. My parents' old collie was 19 when he died. He did have lips like a hoover, though the slobber would have not done anything to cure a hangover.

Some of that medicinal marijuana mentioned in another thread might work?

I remember the first time i got seriously drunk, after the passing out parade at Pucka in the summer. It was a jug shout from memory,

Breakfast was stewed tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, bacon etc etc, so harden up and have a spoonful of cement.

My favourite and a guaranteed hangover cure is a double brandy, lime, and soda, big handful of ice, in a middy glass.

Combine above with 2 units of IV fluids, while you sleep it off.

Much easier than drinking 2 litres of water.
