Can anyone help with sources for a spare wheel cover for my S1 Disco? Either Landrover logo or Discovery would be fine. To suit 237/70 alloys.
I'm in the South Island (...Tassie) but am happy to order anywhere really.
Thanks
Silverhammer

Try ebay, you might find one, i have seen the odd one or two on there before, you might be lucky, or try Land Vehicle Spares, in sydney. I am sure someone will know somewhere closer though. Matt

Sorry LRH, there is only room for one ideas man on this forum and Vlad has that job already. I mean come on an ECU snorkel, ideas dont get much better than that. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif Matt

ECU Snorkel eh?
I'm just going to use compressed air into a sealed box - now that should be water tight style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

Will call em after NYE holidays.
I know I can get one with custom artwork for about $80.
Re 2006, perhaps 2005 will be a good year too.

Go to the pub ace and treat yourself, dont worry about the trouble you will get in as you are already in it and will be for the next 3 years at least style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

Didn't you know TDI, that's why the doctors keep them in hospital for a couple of days. To give the man a chance to go get blind and run amock with his mates one last time.

I'm always in the ****, only the depth varies. I would rather chat on here with you guys than go anywhere near the pub. Besides the nearest pub is 6-7 km away, to far to walk and to expensive to call a cab, cheaper to do it at home. Matt

I hear ya ace, and sometimes it gets pretty deep with out you even realising it.

Or knowing how you got there, thats the worst thing. You know, when you are supposed to know telepathically, what you did wrong. Matt

The worst bit is not knowing how you got so deep in the ****. Matt

BTW, moving right along... got some spare wheel covers.
Not flash, plain black, suitable for some subtle lettering, like : Nissan Rescue Vehicle. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
Saved a couple of slabs by consulting the gurus at Supacheap, just $19.99 including batteries. Unquestionable quality, all that we've come to expect from the boys in Beijing . Still, I could buy 5 and still be ahead.
Now I know where all the old black plastic garbage bags have gone...
