Hi Guys
It was Maintence day for the Mitsa****Y Trytoo today. Its been leaking black oil over the driveway and needed an oilchange.
The vacuum pump on the alternator(for brake booster) has been groaning for a while and was the source of the oil leak.I had a spare on an old alternator to swap.
Despite 2 cans of degreaser and a good wash I still ended up covered in black****tyoil.I realy hate working on the piece of poo,it takes weeks to get that black stain out of your arms and hands!!!!!
Anyhow, the oil leak appears to be fixed, the groan has gone and thanks to the CEM oil flush(see update in tech section) she is idleing smoother and there is more power there.

Just trade it in on another landy. Much easier. Matt

Not trading it in on a Landy, its HER bucket of poo,I just do the maintence!!!!!!!!!!!!! She and the boy walked to the pool for swimming lessons today rather than take the Landy style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
Now I would love to quit my 109 van,a worthy replacement would be a Defender Extreme, but would settle for an "ordinary" Defender.

You can never have to many landies. Just buy a defender and keep what you already have. Matt

You guys have it all wrong, keep the Trytoo going, the handbrake is happy with it.Then I can get myself a modern Landy or get the toy up and going. If the trytoo dies she will want another dualcab, and I dont think she would go for a 130 somehow.
