Might be a bit of a tough one. Built without permision on crown land, chances are even after a lengthy court battle you would still loose.
I'd be carefull that they don't get charged for it's removal as well, but then again, if they don't know who you are

nothing to do with me
but thought id ask if anybody had any idea's
i told him the same thing stay away from it as they might nab him for legal costs as well
next time they need a better hiding spot
pity though its a great set up
and only 1hr from home
easy drive for a friday night outtings
with the boys
i should try get some pics of it

Paint it in camoflage, they will never find it. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
Why did they even notify them of its destruction. If its build illegally, why dont they just knock it down? Matt

You forgot the apostrophe. It should have been "It's" meaning a contraction of "it is".

Read. Read. Read. And when you find a word you don't know, look it up in a dictionary. If necessary use an on-line dictionary that will offer suggestions in case you can't spell the word.
You won't taught how to spell at school - most teachers don't seem to be able to spell either - at least those I've come in contact with. I used to edit the Land Rover Owner's Club LROC News. The worst stuff came from teachers.
Make sure that Windows uses the Macquarie Dictionary - set the default language to English (Australian).
I agree with the system used by some teachers, "drop everything and read" where the kids can read almost anything, car magazines, etc. The idea is to get them to read. But the system lets kids down when teachers don't correct their work "because we don't want to stifle their creativity".
Creativity won't get many kids a job. It will some in some fields but not for a lot of them.
English changes, spelling changes. I remember being amused by articles written in Model Engineer magazine some years back where an older contributor used the archaic form of spelling the word "show" - he wrote it as "shew" in all his articles.
English was not my best subject at school - I still don't know much about the formal side of the subject. But I learned a lot from a manager I had in OTC about 30 years ago. He was a Pole who really was even more pedantic than me. All telexes and reports had to be vetted by him before they could be sent. Corrections were the order of the day but I did get the hang of stringing words together in technical reports.
Funnily enough, I've read some reports and I've thought, "Jeez, that's well written, I wonder who wrote that?" I've got to the end and found it was one of mine from years earlier. I should have checked first!

I think ive got it right but someone will probably know.....
I think in some areas of state forest or crown land you can simply pick cetrtain old claims and pay the land tax and live on them, if there are a few of you blokes might be worthwhile looking for some of these places, they are left over from many years ago, usually mining or farming claims where the land holders have died and left the land,
or something like that anyway
i know there is a couple of these in the Stanley State Forest Victoria.

I hear he is a real hard arse. However i think his behavior isnt really acceptable, and to make things worse all the other forum members are congratualting him. Sure what the guys in the car did was stupid, but beating the **** out of them was pretty irriesponsible, whilst you might want to, there are ways of doing things, and violence solves nothing. All they did was stoop to the level of the dickheads. What they should have done was take down rego details and pass it onto the police, all the police need to press charges, is a report from someone thses days, they dont need to witness anything. Matt

I've been thinking about tha hut problem.
Grab yourself and old car trailer and reassemble the hut onto that. Then you can move the hut at will. Each time they slap a notice on it, just remove the notice and move the hut.
Soon there'll be a mountain of paperwork on somebody's desk.... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
