That depends on a few things, freelander, disco and rangie owners don't seem to particularly, but series and defender owners usually do.

Thats the same here......Nearly all series and Defender drivers do wave,

No worries mate, it's not as if we don't talk about the same thing over and over and over and over and...
well you get the idea.
Suggest you put your location in your profile and let us know when you are planning on moving to Australia.
(All Brits plan that, don't they ?!) style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
Oh and I wave to almost everyone but usually only Fender drivers wave back.

G'day Peteh, I drive a disco and I wave. I usually only get them back when driving outside Sydney. I find that disco drivers wave to me, but maybe that's because I'm in one too.

I always wave. Dont usually get waves back. People around here dont seem to understand the Land Rover Wave Tradition. I did get a wave from a fender to day though. Matt

They're probably saying to each other "Do we know them in the discovery? Don't the reynold's have one of those? Better wave, they may say bad things down at the country club" style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

I found it more common in South Australia. Easter trip to Flinders ranges. All Disco drivers waving to each other.
ended up with iontensive Physio - RSI if you know what I mean.
Back in Victoria only got waved once I think or was it the finger? style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

Well, we Discodrivers usually flash the headlights, don't we? And, of course, if the window is down, I'll give a wave too!

I give a wave to all fender and series drivers (although of late I have not been getting many back...must be a seasonal thing).
I will also give a wave to Classic Rangies, especially anything that has been modified. Same goes for all SI Discos that have been loved.
My arm would fall off if you waved to all the SII Discos and non-classic Rangies, only to get weird looks back.
Just give a big smile to Troopie drives as you blast past them going uphill style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

I give a wave to:
1. All Series, Defenders and County's including farm and Service vehicles.
2. Range rovers modified or with a LROCV or AULRO sticker.
3. Discovery's with either a LROCV or AULRO sticker.
Not that I'v seen many vehicles with AULRO stickers here in Victoria ...
Maybe in February they might be a few ..... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
