Land meter

Hi all, i bought a land meter for my disco the other day, however i am unsure how to connect it up. It says connect one of the two lead wires from the fuse box to one of the two cables on the land meter? i am unsure which are the two lead wires from the fuse box

The Landmeter doesnt need power to function. It only needs a power supply for illumination. Find a power supply that is in parallel with the instrument/dash lights

Oh thanks. How would you recommend connecting it?

There will be a fused supply you could probably access easily behind the radio.

You could also pick up 12V at the rear of the cigarette lighter, but would illuminate with the ignition on.
