Think of trading the D2 in on a D4. Not sure if the D4 is a 10MY or a My11. Build date on the sales sticker say 5/ 2011. Any one know the visual and spec differences ?

It is most likely one of the last MY11s - the new model year normally starts in the second half of the previous real year ie MY12 will probably came out in the second half of 2011.

Was certainly that way back in 2006/07/08.

So you are suggesting that my D4 manufactured in September 2012 is actually an MY13 model, mine is an SE and only has the 6 speed gearbox ;)

Yeah id say your right there from what i remember to, i don't think they did any changes from when they bought it out although they did a minor update where the ends of the stalks indicators and wipers have silver buttons as opposed to black ones and that came with a change in the lay out of the centre satnav screen when it has the new look instead of the previous style with the long icons on the left side so check that out, but I'm pretty sure the easy way is to tell from the indicator and wiper stalks with the buttons on the end.

No idea - depends when in the 6 month period that LR changed the MY. If the MY changed in August 2012 then it would be a MY13 but if it changed in October 2012 then no it is a MY 12.

Put your VIN into Topix and it will tell you.

The VIN it will read Eg: SALLAAAF3 D A123456

The D tells you it is a 13MY, if you have a C in this position then it's a 12MY.
