Evening all, anyone tried or any opinions on these ?

Can they clear any codes ?

you would be better off paying more and getting the IIDTool (http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/products/iidtool.html). The scanner you are looking at would only access the engine ECU at best. The IIDTool can access all ECUs and read and reset all fault codes as well reset the service warning, calibrate the suspension, set tight tolerance mode etc.

I just had a non Bluetooth IID Tool delivered last week.
Simple to use and does access all ECU's as advertised.
Ordered it from Island 4X4 in the UK.

The device may work but seems to be only half the solution. You'd still need software on the iPhone / iPad to interpret and display what the device communicates.

+1 for the IIDTool - The BT version works with iPhone (iPad as well, but I don't have one of these), software can be downloaded via iTunes.
