Hi All. Anyone out there who has installed driving lights onto their D4, was told by my dealer that it couldnt be done due to all the new electronics in the D4. Any ideas.

That's hilarious mate.

You have a very knowledgeable dealer ;-)

Lots have spotties and/or light bars fitted.

Hi Robert and as Brett posted, there are plenty of D4 owner with driving lights and light bars fitted to their D4s and they don’t cause any problems.

Just out of curiosity, who is the dealer?

Your dealer is having a lend of you.

Considering that even LR themselves sell driving lights to install, and will quite happily take your $$$ to put them on a D4........

And, its not difficult to do either. Just make sure the cabling & relays are suitable for the lights you run.

Your dealer is partialy correct. Some aftermarket HID lights interfer with Canbus data
The easy solution is to get Canbus compatible HIDs

I have mounted a LED bar on the wifes RRS recently, used the relay kit provided and hooked into blue/slate conductor on the LH main beam to control it. No problems
