So i had a leaking seal that has been on the to do list for a few weeks, wife and kids were out so after i went for a 115klm blast thru the hills on my Daytona i scheduled the job in for the arvo.
When i removed the wheel i could see why the hub was leaking, i could grab the disc and wobble side to side about 10mm :o.
Locking tab didnt look to be holding so the nut had wound itself out which allowed the bottom corned of a brake pad to wear a 2mm deep groove into the hum portion of the disc (not disc surface), movement also kiiled the seal hence the leaking.
Lots of de-greaser and a check of the bearings and re assembly with a new seal and hopefully all fixed.
