We have just returned from a 3400Klm trip to a very wet Nth Coast of N.S.W. towing our caravan.
I have previously towed a camper trailer and hadn't needed towing mirrors.
I definitely do with this big bugger now.
I nearly knocked up trying to keep an eye on following traffic as I went around bends or in towns.
Too hard!I suppose I was lucky not to have been pinched.
Mirrors please.
I met a fellow with a D4 in a caravan park who had a pair of Milenco Aero mirrors which he was happy with.
He did say that they vibrated a bit but it didn't render them unuseable.
I have had a look at them on the net and watched a promotional video made in the UK where that claim that they were tested to 160 Klm/h.
I would like to have seen that, can you imagine it?
Still, they do look like they fit a D4 and still allow the mirrors to swing when locking.
Any thoughts or recommendations regarding tow mirrors would be greatly appreciated.
