View Full Version : Cab shake at 100k's

Before I start my investigation My 110 puma has developed a shake in the rear at about 90 to 100k's then sort of disappears at 110k's is it my rear tyres that are out of balance ?

Fingers crossed for wheel weights.

Maybe prop shaft weight, or suspension bushes....

Hey Drover do you have a DBL cardan Shaft on the front , if so what is your Phasing sat at ? including the rear , I'm told the front is 30 degree out of phase and the rear is in phase .

Soz, I just pulled it out on Saturday and lent it to mate to be copied at his machine shop.

Should have it back in about a week if you still need the info, but yes it's a DC shaft.

Ummmm I had a pretty bad week last week and it might be sitting in my garage still :angel:

I will take a photo for you when I get home and post it up and I am sending the shafts out to the shop on Monday.

Here you go, grants is the one on the newspaper, interesting to see the difference between the two shafts as his is in phase. 83388833898339083391

So the puma with card an shaft sould be in phase ?
