No I wasn't there Mrs hh. It's on the "Rainbow Beach Rocks Report" site on Faecesbook!

Read the report on it by one Brendon Davis!

Hundreds get caught each year. Look at the pub photos.
I drove along about 15 years ago and there was a new Holden Rodeo up on the rocks.
I asked a bystander if I could help get it off and was told it had been on there 3 days and that it was brand new with delivery mileage and owned by the Rainbow Beach petrol station owner!
So even those who should know better get caught.
It is a great temptation when you are 100 metres from the beach exit to give it a go rather than backtrack 10+Km to Freshwater Lake and then another 20 plus km.

I drove through there a couple of months ago at low tide. There was plenty of beach to drive on.

Ditto, I was there 4 weeks ago and plenty of sand. An old pic me thinks.
