Some filthy rotten ass clown decided today while my car was parked at the station that they wanted my light bar more than I did, they coulnt get it off cause I welded the nuts to the bolts when fitting it so they destroyed it trying, what they didnt realize was the camera mounted under the mirror on the windscreen is turned on whenever I leave the disco parked, now my question is do I post that 1 min video on every facebook page I can and ask everyone to share it? Or do I pop down the cop station and hand it in, I know what would be funnier. .

Definitely go to the Police. Logging a job with them will give you a reference number to give to your insurance company. Also, there may be other footage available from the station, or nearby premises, which may help Police in securing an ID. (They may be known grubs).

Also, show and shame those low-life creeps.

The scum of today is no different to the scum of yesterday or the scum of tomorrow. You post this as if you are the first victim of a theft.
You go to the police with your report and evidence and leave it to the system to deal with it. The outcome whether conviction or not; any penalty will not satisfy you. But that is another argument.
Doing nothing but venting on social media is the most ridiculous outlet of the modern age.

Shouldn't matter if you post it anyway. The fact they didn't remove the item means they aren't going to be getting rid of evidence should they find out you are "onto them". It won't adversely affect any Police investigation into a property damage offence. It may actually help you out with an identification of the offender(s).

Make sure you report the incident sooner rather than later.

In addition, download best pic and make up wantered posters and stick them all over the neighbourhood. Poles, bus stops, shop windows, service stations etc.
Call for volunteers to distribute.
DO NOT make it a dead or alive wanted poster but offer a slab or two as reward or a new pair of shoes for women to claim.
Bit of work involved but great fun.

Blackvue seems to be working well. Hardwire to your aux. battery if you have one. You can purchase an in-line thingy to go on the power line which supposedly stops the camera from draining too much power from your main battery - but I'm not game to try that on a D4.;)

Blackvue certainly shows a clear, identifiable image .......... unless of course the face is well covered by a hoodie or similar.

Definitely wish I had the Blackvue a few months back when the lightbar was knocked off from under my roofrack - and the mungrel that did it climbed onto the roof and left a dent in it just behind the windscreen. :censored:
