I see in this mornings paper (yes we actually get one in the West) that the new RR sport is due for release in Australia in September.
There is also an RR upgrade out in July.
Could be an interesting year.

You and me both, I might just have to wait till I can get down to Perth to have a look see.
Nearest dealer here is 2 hours away and he holds almost zero new cars in stock.

I too am interested to see the reaction to the new disco here in OZ. If the US market is anything to go by (an increase in sales of 50% for the month of december last year) we could be seeing the revival of the landy here. Just hope they get their act together with the defender and the freelander.

The new freelander is due out VERY soon as well, pics of mules with the old body have appeared in a few places on the net, and I can;t wait to see what they do with it. as for the defender, I hope that they wait as long as possible

Yeah, I know the feeling, I think the '03 Disco may have to be mine for many years as somehow I think the trade value may make a changeover uneconomical style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif

Because I won't be able to afford a new Defender I console myself with the fact that depreciation is not something I'll have to worry about. See, every cloud DOES have a silver lining.

I know someone has to buy new cars so others can enjoy the fact that someone has taken the depreciation hit. However i think the only way to buy a car, if you can afford to, is to buy a 12month old model, with less than 50k on the clock. That way some has run it in for you, copped the initial servicing, and taken the depreciation for you. Matt

True, but if you find out who used to own it, and get the service hisotory you should be good. Besides a Disco isnt really a vehicle that attracts hoons who give their vehicles a hiding. Matt

How long till we get the "Hoons in V8 four wheel drives" story on A Current Affair :?:

Stop watching it. The rating are dying in the arse and it is only a matter of time! I think the Doctor Who re-runs on the ABC are starting to hurt ACA and TT....bloody good thing.
I reckon the re-runs of the Goodies and Monkey will see the death of them style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
