Need help please.

I've purchased a knew hitch to allow me to towed a balled trailer, which isgreat but, the front axel of my tandem trailer is nearly off the ground (those#5s are high buggers).

So I’ve done a lot of research to try and find one of those plates about100mm x 400mm with about 10 holes in it but they all seem to be those gooseneck types - no good for Perenties!

So does anyone know of someone who sells just the plate without the gooseneck?

I find it hard to get on the computer regularly so thanks in advance ifanyone replies.

Cheers,
Daryl.

Hi Darryl

A number of people have fitted the tow plate off civilian series Land Rovers.

Hi Darryl,

try these guys, they're in Ballarat, not far from Geelong. thye have the flat plates similar to the old Series tow plates, that will allow you to drop the hitch point and level out the trailer

Dixon Bate in the UK make just the thing: Adjustable plate (http://dixon-bate.co.uk/shop/gb/height-adjusters/19-dixon-bate-35t-universal-coup-.html)

These frequently appear on E-Bay UK, new and used, but you might need to persuade them to post to Aus as they'd weigh a bit.
