just been looking at this Front Runner Seed Net / Wading Sheet and it looks like a good bit of gear just wanting to know if anyone has one and is it worth $55 or just keep using the good old tarp :) ???????????

We've got one and very happy with it. Never actually used the wade bit but the seed net catches plenty of insects around here (wade sheet just stays rolled up out of the way). Got it because when we had a bunch of locusts doing the rounds it was cheaper online (from Daniel at Mulgo) than some flimsy mesh from the local Supercheap at the time.
Would recommend it, nice bit of gear.

Worth the coin - works well.

I have one also and would recommend it.
I've used the wading flap a few times.
IMO it doesn't create as big a bow wave as a tarp would, but it is effective.
My insect mesh has recently sustained a hole.
I'm not too sure how long it will last but it has been on for a couple of years now and it's still in good knick.
I guess the mesh could be replaced.
Hope this helps

I have installed a full time DIY insect mesh by pulling off the front plastic grille (it only has 6 christmas tree clips from memory), stealing some flyscreen of a window that would not get noticed by SWMBO, trimming to size and clipping the front plastic grille back over the top.
The only downside of a permanent setup like this is that the insect mesh does pick up snow when the engine is not running, although the snow will melt off fast enough not to block airflow when driving. Not sure about blizzards, but we don't get to many of those in this country... ;)
