Can someone tell me what's the advantage of the ex box other than a higher arm rest? Love the idea but just wondering why the seat base can't be fully waterproofed? Cheers

Seat box space for storage, additional storage space in Ex Box too.

It's to put the electrics from under the drivers seat into under the exbox. You can now use the space under the seat for whatever you want. (recovery gear etc)

Probably worth the money just for storage and as an arm rest.

The only possible niggles I can think of are:


The top corners catch your elbow right in the funny bone, but don't worry you will only do it once
Drinks in the drink holders, especially the passenger side one, are a it closer to the gear shift lever than before and occasionally get knocked
In a Puma with factory subwoofer, pushing the rear seats forward rubs the headrests against the subwoofer.

Even with the niggles, absolutely worth installing in my view.
