Where do I find the reverse switch for a 300tdi

It appears I haven't had a reverse light since my gearbox was replaced..........

I'm have troubles tracing the wires

Kelvin LH side of trans, close to the top of the extension hsg, above the bracket for the mounting. A pain to get at unless you remove the tunnel cover. The wiring however is easy to get at, it usually rests over the top of the rear of the transfer case.
