Hi All
I have the GOE 18's with Conti Cross Contact AT's in 255/60 R18
I had a tyre blow yesterday and I am in Townsville I am looking at the General Grabber AT2 to put on as a spare because I cant get the Conti's in Townsville.
Has anyone used the General Grabber Tyre?

The GG AT2 has had a bit of a reputation for weakish sidewalls from owners with heavier cars such as the D4. The GG AT was supposed to remedy that, but I haven't had any clients fit them, so not sure.
In the 255/60R18, there's the relatively common Goodyear Silent Armor (AT), have had good reports on that one. Maxxis, Pirelli and Nitto are also available in that size. You might be able to locate one of those?
Cheers,
Gordon

I have GG AT (not the AT2) on my RRS and they are fine but they are not LT if that is important.
The AT is a newer tyre than the AT2 so if your supplier has AT2s I would check the build date of the tyres as they may be new old stock - but maybe not.

I got just under 100k km on my set of AT2's on my D3 - fantastic tyre on road and off and not noisy at all.
