Looks awesome Andy. Very jealous. For some reason my one is held up on the wharves.
With luck I will get it next week.

Very shiny Andy...............now I know why you wanted your wheel carrier etc in gloss black :D
I had a customer's one week old black Puma in my workshop to fit checkerplate wing protectors, it seems so wrong drilling holes in those shiny panels, but it's all worth it in the end when it's an accessory you will get a lot of use from.

Like those rear lights.
Well done!

Thanks all,
1 st problem the Silver Pack rear lights dont fit the front runner light guards, or vice versa, so they will go up for sale.
About to mount the wing guards and i see there is a plastic protector, looks like it is mounted with 4 screws, is that right? Can i leave the wheel on when i remove it? ( If no i will buy some axle stands.
My Mini Moke never had such flash design features.
My mechanical skills can be measured by a very short ruler,:o

Just wondering, is it politically correct to quote King Billy Cokebottle any more?
Nice one Andy, you have waited long enough, i pick mine up in 12days and 1hr

Congratulations Andy!
My first question was going to be whether there is an on/off switch for the DSC...but you just answered that! Was curious because my 130 is due to arrive in about 8 weeks, which will have it.
Be careful, the DSC light on the dash usually means its turned off!
I like those dual finish alloys wayyy better than the sawtooths too!
Does yours have the subwoofer on the back of the cubby box?

Yes, indeed , it does
I had the Sawtooth on order, but global world shortage until Oct so swapped over, but very happy, they tie back to the roof nicely
Yes, and todays challenge is the Mulgo box

Personal circumstances.
Ordered in March (due to last production run of the Firenze Red)
Arrived in July
Been at dealers ever since
Fly in on the 22nd from Jakarta, Stealer picks me up at the airport straight to Neil Buckby's. (hence i know the timing to the hour when i will pick it up)
All up, a 6 1/2 month process from paying deposit!
I cant wait to be in your happy shoes. Look forward to following your progress with the upgrades, trip photos, what you did today etc etc
Its so much fun being a defender / landie owner and i dont even have (or had) a vehicle yet ha ha.

I got the call from the dealer today that mine had finally arrived with them. It arrived in Freo on the 29th so god knows what happened since then. The most frustrating element is I live in East Fremantle so probably it has been sitting about a km from home!
Anyway, will be able to pick it up Thurs or Friday next week. Perhaps earlier if I call every day so they can get rid of me.

Very nice - I'm jealous.
There's a flash Defender in the latest 4WD Action - might give you some clever ideas for modding yours.

The adventures of butter fingers continues.
Will post some updated pics once i fix a few woopsies.
Question
I have a Traxide kit and want to mount two power points in the rear, I am looking at the little panel next to the rear door with the speaker in it (passenger side), assuming the loom will be long enough, or is there a better spot.
Looks like i better buy some grommets if im drilling holes again

The grazed knuckles grow,
Tinting by Solar Style in BNE, (they do the new BMW's)
Bullbar & Steering Guard, recovery points, by APT
Rear Recovery point Nugget
Bumperettes Mulgo
Wheel Carrier Rijidij
Today with luck
Cargo Barrier
Dual Battery system by Traxide.
The novelty of accessories is wearing off rapidly.

The Mulgo bumperettes look pretty solid from pictures on the Mugo sitei?
Can't really see them on your vehicle,....any chance of a few pics from a few angles?!
Are you happy with them, & will they fit on a '13 90 without drilling any extra holes?
Thanks, Pickles.

I'm happy with mine :) Some pics below...
They use the factory bumper holes in MY14 110, so I assume the same holes are there on the MY13 90
Some things that might not be obvious from pics / Mulgo's website:
The driver's side one is shorter (across the cross-member) to allow for dual wheel carriers.
The passenger side one might make using the tubular high lift jack point tricky, but the bases are solid and flat so you should be able to jack straight off the bottom of the step (either side)
They both project rearwards about 2/3 the distance across the spare tyre (standard mount)

Yes
The Mulgo gear is really good, no holes to be drilled.
A tight fit with the rijidij wheel carrier but it all fits.
Just waiting for a Kis or Hyundai to kiss my arse.
Oh and the Cibies were made in 2012 in Belgium, so nice European quality.

Reminds me of the time a tradie ran up the back of me in his Commode ute while I was stopped at the lights. Felt a bump, got out and there were bits of Commode all over the road, plastic, steel, bumper coolant etc. In comparison, the Disco had a white mark about an inch long on the rear bumper, just above the tow bar, which polished out. Young guy said he was checking the map and didn't stop in time. Felt sorry for him as he said his boss would kill him.

Looks good - one of my favourite colour schemes on the Defender.
It's just a pity that they don't make standard number plates a reasonable size so that they don't stick out the side of these vehicles.

Very nice - and those seats are impressive!
I agree about the number plate, after looking at mine. How dumb is it we can't get square number plates like in the UK. That bit sticking out the side is just silly and dangerous.
